About me...

I have been in private practice for 13 years working primarily using the Integrative approach - this means I may use several different theories, allowing me to use the style and technique best suited to you. I can offer both short- and long-term therapy and we discuss your needs when we first meet. I offer counselling to Teenagers, Adults and Couples from my clinics in West Wickham in Kent, Sevenoaks in Kent and Bletchingley in Surrey. I also offer telephone and online therapy if that is more convenient for you.

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling.  In addition I have an Advanced Professional Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a Diploma in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). I also have a CPCAB Level 5 Diploma working with Children & Young People. I am in regular supervision and fully insured. I hold a current Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate.

I have a wide range of experience working with many different issues and I have also worked as a voluntary counsellor at Mind, one of the country's leading charities working with mental health issues.

My Professional Advanced Diploma is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. I am also an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and a registered member of the BACP, and I abide by their code of ethics at all times. In addition to this the National Counselling Society's register is accredited to the Department of Heath's Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) scheme.

How I work... .

Having always had an interest in Psychology and people's behaviour   becoming a counsellor felt very natural for me, so I began my training in 2009 and started my private practice in 2012 with a goal to make a difference to others.  I can offer both short- and long-term therapy and we discuss what you feel is best for you when we first meet. I offer a safe, comfortable and confidential setting at all times. Our first meeting gives us both the opportunity to see if we feel we can work together and what that may look like. I can work with past issues, the here and now and we can also look at any future concerns, but my overall aim is to help you to get to a healthier place.
